Engell Jaime is a Programme Management and Strategic Planning Specialist at UN Women with more than 10 years of experience supporting gender equality and women’s empowerment initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. Her work spans strategic planning, programme oversight, partnerships, and resource mobilization across a broad portfolio that includes women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion, ending violence against women, women, peace and security, and governance initiatives. She has supported multi-country and regional programmes through collaboration with governments, financial institutions, civil society, private sector actors, and development partners, contributing to the design and implementation of innovative and inclusive solutions that strengthen women’s rights, leadership, economic participation, and access to opportunities.
